Manifest Process
A shipping manifest process is usually performed at the end of the day to send the details of all the packages processed to the carrier. A completed manifest shows the package list and where the shipment is going. A shipping manifest can also include who signed for the package at drop-off. This can be very helpful if a dispute arises over when and if a package was delivered.
Note: – In this Application, a manifest is not required for the carriers FEDEX, UPS, and USPS as the shipping information is being sent to the carrier directly through web services.
The General tab shows the details of Shipping Agent Code, Shipping Agent Service Code, etc…

| Manifest No. | This field is used to specify the Manifest No., This is automatically populated when a new manifest is created. |
| Description | This field is used to specify the Manifest Card description. |
| Shipping Agent Code | This field is used to specify the Shipping Agent Code. Valid values are: FedEx, UPS, USPS, and SPEEDEE |
| Shipping Agent Account No. | This field is used to specify the Account No. of the Shipping Agent. |
| Close Date | This field is used to specify the Close Date of Manifest. |
| Shipments Cut-off Date Time | This field is used to specify the Cut-off Date Time. All the packages created till the Cut-off Date time will be on the manifest to be sent to the carrier. |
| Total Packages | This field is used to specify the Total No. of Packages in the manifest. |
| Total Weight | This field is used to specify the Total Weight of all the packages in the Manifest. |
| Total Shipping Charge | This field is used to specify the Total Shipping Charge of all the Packages in the Manifest. |
| Total Shipping Cost | This field is used to specify the Total Shipping Cost of all the Packages in the Manifest. |

Select Packages: Returns the packages in the list form for a particular Manifest. If a Manifest already has the Manifest Lines, the system will ask for confirmation as shown below:
The Manifest lines are recreated upon confirmation of the user.
Shipping Agent Code: This field is used to specify the Shipping Agent Code.
Shipping Agent Service Code: This field is used to specify the Shipping Agent Service Code.
Description: This field is used to specify the Manifest description.
Total Packages: This field is used to specify the Total No. of Packages for the specific service in the Manifest.
Total Weight: This field is used to specify the Total weight of Packages for the service in the Manifest.
Total Shipping Cost: This field is used to specify the Total Shipping Cost of all the Packages for this service in the Manifest.
Total Shipping Charge: This field is used to specify the Total Shipping Charge of all the Packages for this service in the Manifest.
Post: This function is used to send the Manifest Information with all the selected packages to the Carrier. This function will also move the Manifest to the Posted Manifest if the manifest was successfully sent to the carrier.
Packages: Returns the list of all packages which are included in the Manifest.
Post Packages: Returns the list of all posted packages which are included in the Manifest

| Previous: Returns the previous record of the Manifest. | |
| Next: Goes to the next record as listed in the Manifest. | |

Quick Search: Enter a Manifest code and press Enter Key to see the Manifest Card in the current window.
Result Message Box. The Messages of any error or success during the Manifest process are displayed in the message box.
